Jean Paul Gaultier launched its new fragrance Ultra Male in the summer of 2015. This fragrance is a reinterpretation or enhanced version of the famous Le Male fragrance released in 1995. Ultra Male was advertised as a masculine, strong, seductive, and at the same time soft fragrance, relying on the contrast of notes, and is considered a more spicy version of the original.
The fragrance opens with citrusy notes of bergamot, juicy pear, dark lavender, and mint. The heart features cumin, cinnamon, and aromatic sage. The base is composed of black vanilla, amber, and woods. This edition was created by Francis Kurkdjian.
The face of the advertising campaign is model Jarrod Scott. The fragrance comes in its iconic bottle shaped like a man's torso, this time in dark blue with black stripes. It is available in 40ml, 75ml, and 125ml sizes in Eau de Toilette Intense concentration.
